First Night

First Night

First night Spokane is a big event and is making its way up in the ladder in events ever coming year. This year seemed interesting enough it had plenty to do and see. In my opinion though it is geared to more family oriented stuff and could use more hands on activities geared at teens that are wondering around. Also I noticed a couple annoying things were the organization of it all.  A lot of people were annoyed that the times were different in a couple of different news print. Also me and a friend walked through pretty much all of it and it seemed interesting but didn’t really grab are attention for more then a couple of hours and we headed off. I did how ever love the bringing together of different artists. All in all worth walking around seems to me maybe next year will be even better.

Arms Against War

Arms Against War

An act of protest against the war in Iraq that does not require money or time. Simply tie a scrap of ANY white fabric around your arm so that we can visibly protest (legally) at all times and in all places until the war ends and the troops are pulled out. Simple, for everyone regardless of religion, race, location - FREE and INSTANT and CONTINUOUS form of simple protest that in large enough numbers - will be highly visible.
